We have as much to learn from dogs as we do to teach them.

Pumpkin was an amazing, beautiful orange and white herding mix rescue dog who inspired Chris Lantzer, founder of Woof Wise Dog Training, to help others discover how to build that special, joyous bond with dogs that comes from learning how to effectively communicate through positive reinforcement.

Chris believes that our canine companions give us so very much and we should do what we can to give back. While Woof Wise Dog Training has donated to many organizations over the years, the below are especially near to our heart. Please click the links below to learn about the amazing impact each organization is having on the quality of life for our furry friends and donate if you are able.

National Canine Cancer Foundation

A cause near and dear to our hearts, the National Canine Cancer Foundation is a nationwide, contribution funded, 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem in dogs by funding grants for the scientific efforts of cancer researchers who are working to save lives, find a cure, find better treatments, find more accurate, cost effective, diagnostic methods in dealing with cancer, and diminishing dogs’ suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service.

The Sanctuary for Senior Dogs

We are proud to support this 501(c)(3) organization that has been dedicated to the rescue, adoption, and lifelong care of elderly dogs for over 19 years.
